Cover cropping, composting and natural pest management build soil organic matter across our farms. Healthier soil means deeper root systems, more aromatic leaves and less need for synthetic inputs — a better herb and a better farm.
Our packhouse runs on a rooftop solar array, with battery-backed cooling that keeps the cold chain green as well as unbroken. 60% of packhouse energy now comes from the sun, and the share keeps climbing.
Drip irrigation, rainwater harvesting and a closed-loop wash system recycle 92% of our process water. Every drop we save in the highlands protects the rivers that feed Kenya's communities downstream.
Compostable punnets, returnable crates and recyclable cartons have cut single-use plastic by 12 tonnes a year — without shortening the shelf life buyers depend on.

Sustainable export starts with sustainable livelihoods. Our outgrower model contracts smallholder farmers across Kenya's highlands, paying above-market prices and providing certified seed, agronomy training and guaranteed offtake.
Fresh produce travel has a footprint — we're honest about it and working to shrink it. Our roadmap: fully solar-powered cold chain by 2027, 100% compostable fresh-herb packaging by 2028, and net-zero operations by 2030.
